THE STORY SHOPPE

NO MATTER WHERE YOU MAY LIVE, HELP IS AVAILABLE AS YOU DEVELOP YOUR SKILLS IN THE WRITING OF SHORT STORIES AND NOVELS. I WORK WITH WRITERS IN PERSON AND BY PHONE AND EMAIL TO HELP WITH EVERY ASPECT OF WRITING. PLEASE CONTACT ME. I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU.

2015

Manuscript Group: This new group now forming will meet monthly to enable you to complete and publish your work. Each month you will receive written feedback from a number of other writers, and will plan your writing goals for the coming month and report in on the previous month's work. You will be required to do no reading of others' work outside of the monthly meeting. This is a group model which many writers have found most useful in helping them move work to completion. Please contact me through the Contact Page on this website for more information.

Linda McCullough Moore has led weekly writing workshops in Northampton, Massachusetts for more than twenty years. Her writers are often professionals who wish to branch out into creative writing.

A number of these writers have completed and published works of poetry, fiction and creative nonfiction. Linda works as a consultant, coach, encourager, director, and editor for aspiring writers, and would love to hear from you about any ways in which you think she might be helpful in your writing.

For information about writing workshops, please contact me through the contact page.

SUMMER 2012:

I will be offering four Saturday craft workshops this summer. All four are
different and you may come to one, or two, or three, or four. ( If your interest is in
memoir, you will profit I think from coming to both memoir workshops, if your schedule
allows.)

Saturday June 23 Foundations of Memoir: Underpinnings and Foundation

Saturday June 30 The Short Story: The Uses of Imagination in Writing Short Fiction

Saturday July 7 Memoir: Telling Your Story Your Way

Saturday July 14 The Short Story: Polishing and Packaging and Publishing (or, What's Plot
Got to do With It?)

Workshops Saturdays from 9:30 -12:30. These will be concentrated work and learning
sessions, so we will pack a lot into three hours. Cost: $80 per workshop.

I am very excited at the prospect of these CRAFT WORKSHOPS and I believe they will be useful as you invest this summer in moving forward in your work.

Please let me know any questions.

These workshops are first come/first serve for sign-ups, so I encourage you to sign up as
quickly as you determine schedules and interests.
